Easy to install

Placement

  1. Determine whether XTRA TIRE will be located in front of or behind fender well
  2. Stand spare tire against pickup box
  3. Mark pickup box lip at center of standing tire.
  4. Oversized tires may have to be reversed to fit

Tools Needed

Adjustable wrench, utility knife, and tape measure.
No holes in truck bed

Assembly

  1. Slide eyebolt onto head sleeve.
  2. Insert threaded tightening rod into head sleeve.

Installation

  1. Insert the head underneath the lip of truck bed.
    **for trucks with bed liner** cut a 3 inch slit in liner 1 ½ inches from top edge of truck bed.
  2. Place foot against bottom of truck bed.
  3. Rotate top nut on tightening rod until foot is snug.
  4. Lock bottom nut against top nut.
  5. Position tire onto eyebolt
  6. Secure tire by tightening nut on eyebolt.
