Water, Sewer, and Garbage

The City of Wyoming has begun construction on upgrades to the city’s water distribution system. Due to the well being drilled and distribution line work being done at the same time water service will be interrupted. We have to fill the tower then turn off the pump while the well is being drilled. At the same time the contractor working on the water lines is flushing lines. It is necessary to conserve water! You may want to draw extra water on the weekends to save for times during the week when water is off. Water pressure may be low at times, again conserve water. Water will be rusty at times. We have a rust remover product available at City Hall if you need it. We appreciate your patience throughout this project. If you have any questions or concerns please contact City Hall at 488-3970.

Please be reminded that toilet paper is the only paper product that should be flushed in the sewer system!  Don't use the toilet as a wastebasket.  Products such as paper towels and shop towels, which are not biodegradable, do cause problems.  Also be reminded that it is prohibited to connect a roof downspout or any other source of groundwater or surface run off it the sanitary sewer system.
