SPECIAL MEETING, June 20, 2007
The special meeting of the Wyoming City Council was held June 20, 2007 at the City Hall. Council members present were Carstensen, Husmann, Dodge, Woodley and Heiken. Visitors- Shirley Jones-Midland Times. Staff: Tjaden. Mayor Ireland called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Moved by Heiken seconded by Husmann to approve the agenda. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Husmann seconded by Carstensen to reject all bids for the Calkins Square Community Center-phase two barn shell. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Carstensen seconded by Husmann to amend plans for barn phase two. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Heiken seconded by Woodley to approve Resolution to set bid letting for July 18, 2007 at 7p.m. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried. Clerk assigned Resolution #982.
Moved by Heiken seconded by Dodge to approve Resolution for Sheriff’s contract for open patrol for FY 2008. Roll call vote. Ayes-Dodge, Woodley, Heiken. Nayes-Carstensen and Husmann. Motion carried. Clerk assigned Resolution #983.
Moved by Dodge seconded by Heiken to approve Carstensen repairing sidewalk at 308 W. Main St. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Carstensen seconded by Husmann to approve Ireland and Heiken attending Small Cities Workshop. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried
Moved by Heiken seconded by Carstensen to approve Resolution for FY 2008 salaries to include additional Library employees. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried. Clerk assigned Resolution #984.
Moved by Carstensen seconded by Husmann to approve bills. Roll call vote. All aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Husmann seconded by Heiken to adjourn at 7:15 p.m. All aye. Motion carried.
