Join Your Neighbors for Supper

 National Night Out Will be held Tuesday, August 5 at the  Calkins Barn from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Maid rites/ hot dogs, and drink will be furnished by Wyoming Area Betterment.  Bring a covered dish to share if you wish and your own table service.

 National Night Out provides an opportunity for all community members to get to know one another and build strong networks of communication about what’s happening in the neighborhood.

The Jones County Sheriff’s Department, The City of Wyoming, Midland Ambulance Service, and Wyoming Volunteer Fire Company will be represented.

  Governor Branstad has authorized the Iowa Individual Assistance program for Jones County. HACAP has been designated as the operating partner for this program and is ready to accept referrals and take applications. The ways that Jones County residents can access HACAP for this program are:

1) Contacting United Way 2-1-1 by calling 2-1-1 or 1-319-739-4211.
2) Contacting John Regan, HACAP’s Disaster Assistance Coordinator by calling 1-319-739-1521.
3) Going to our Anamosa site located at 100 Park Avenue, or Wyoming City Hall or Library, to pick up an application and/or obtain additional information
