Jennifer Hennessey

Jennifer grew up camping and hiking in the plains of Iowa, and considers this her best training for her role as Trip Leader. Sometime in the spring of 1998, shortly after her release from Broadlawns special unit, Jennifer began backpacking through 14 countries which helped her prepare for the physical and mental extremes of her work environment. Professionally, Jennifer has coached infant swim groups, a smoking cessasion class and is fluent in Malawi, XiouXou, and English.
Cannady Fritzjunker

After spending years as a Girl Scout
Officer, Cannady
chose to create a travel-path for herself by getting off the cookie
trail and heading down the path of adventure travel. Known
for
her canyon calling ability, she has been seen showing off some
of
her skills at the Iowa State Fair yodeling contest, recently placing
9th. Cannady splits her time serving as an interpreter (of
Malawi
and English) and boating with the Sea Rangers of New Zealand.

As 2nd Chief Guide, Jen doesn't like to brag about her adventures and prefers to stress the fact that she has maintained a safety track record that rivals that of the Red Cross.
