When Joe and Susan Wasko (along with their children, Jacob and Katie) opened Wasko Hardware, Inc. on May 4, 2005 they brought over 23 years of experience and a lifelong dream to have a family-owned hardware store. 

Before Joe and Susan opened their own store, Joe managed another hardware store for 23 years. Joe's employees from that store made the transition to Wasko Hardware, Inc. bringing over 70 years of experience in the hardware business along with them.

The  business has grown quickly due to their management style and emphasis on customer service. When a customer walks through the door the Wasko staff go above and beyond to meet their customer’s needs. This along with their full-service approach and family atmosphere make shopping with the Wasko Hardware staff a pleasure!

Joe and Susan and their staff are devoted to knowing their customers, their families, and their personalities. Their helpful and friendly staff can usually find a solution for their customer’s projects or problems, and if they don’t have what they need in the store, they will order it for the customer. They will bend over backwards to locate hard to find items or repair parts. They carry and load merchandise if needed and will also deliver to the surrounding areas. Joe and Susan and their staff have had expanded training with the Color Match Paint System so they can match paint to wallpaper, fabrics, and more. Of course we still provide those other essential services like key cutting, glass cutting, screen repair, pipe threading, paint mixing, and renting carpet cleaners. We also carry a full line of Bertch Cabinets, tubs, shower stalls, whirlpools, kitchen sinks, and other products for your home.
