Why Fundraise?

First and foremost, fundraising helps keep costs lower for all members. In addition, it can help reduce the amount you pay for your entry fees.

What fundraisers does WYHA support?

• Discount Cards - These cards are sold for $10.00 each and have discounts to various local restaurants and stores. 100% of sales apply toward skater's fees.
• Advertisement sales - 75% of all ad sales apply toward skater's fees. Note: Ads are protected and you should not contact companies on the previous year's list unless you sold the advertisement last year!
• 50/50 ticket sales - Sell tickets during Waterloo Blackhawk games. 50% of the money from all sales for the evening (in $50 increments) goes to the ticketholder(s) whose tickets are drawn and WYHA keeps remaining 50% - see schedule and rules.
• Ushering at Blackhawk games more details will be available at a later date.

Who must participate?

While selling of advertisements and discount cards is completely optional, all members (mite through bantam age) must participate in 50/50 sales and Ushering. The reason is that these fundraisers directly benefit all members of the organization and provide necessary revenue to balance the budget.
