Located in Waterloo, Iowa, Waterloo Youth Hockey Association (W.Y.H.A.) is an organization dedicated to amateur ice hockey. Membership is open to all who wish to join. Children (boys & girls alike) can start playing competitive hockey at the age of 6 as a Jr. Hawk and play through high school as a Waterloo Warrior. The WYHA is governed by a Board of Directors with representatives from each age group elected to the board for a two-year term. In addition, it takes many volunteers to coordinate various functions.

Members of the WYHA are asked to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all hockey events as outlined in the Code of Conduct as adopted by the Board of Directors.
