1. George TROUTMAN was born in 1757 in PA. He died on Feb 2 1813 in George Twp., Fayette Co., PA. George was born in either Maryland or Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Margaret were originally buried near the fence along the road that runs up the hill to the old Benjamin Brownfield family cemetery in Georges Township, Fayette Co., PA. Around 1965, a coal stripping company accidentally destroyed the original headstones. Because of the isolated location of the original burial site, it was decided to replace the tombstones with a single marker and have it erected on the John Troutman family burial plot in Mt. Moriah Baptist Cemetery.
He was married to Margaret about 1773.
Margaret was born about 1753. She died on Jan 22 1825 in Georges
Twp., Fayette Co., PA. George TROUTMAN and Margaret had the following children:
