The best maps we carry for Britain are the Landranger Series maps from the British Ordnance Survey. These have a scale of 1:50 000 (one inch = approximately 0.79 mile).

These maps have much more detail than a map that shows all of Britain on one map.
It takes over 200 of these to cover England, Scotland, and Wales. To order the right map, you need to be able to zero in on a small area.If you cannot pinpoint the area you want, you may decide to start with a map of intermediate scale.
The sectional Road Map Series maps from the British Ordnance Survey are better than a map of all of Britian on one sheet. These maps cover England, Scotland, and Wales in 8 maps, at a scale of 1:250 000 (one inch = approximately 3.95 miles).

They do not have as much detail as the Landranger Series, but each map covers more territory, and they do show many places you will not see on an ordinary map or atlas of Europe.
What do these maps cost?
Please check our online brochure for current prices. Most of our maps are in the US$12.95 to US$19.95 range per map.
Shipping and Handling is US$5.00 per order for orders mailed to the USA or Canada. Please ask for a quote for orders sent to other countries.
Sales tax applies if you live in IA, IL, KS, MN, MO, NE, or WI.
How can I place an order?
Print out the Printable Order Form .
Then go to our Online Brochure for Britain.
Write down the stock numbers, map section numbers, descriptions, prices of maps you wish to order, and other information requested on the order form.
If you have problems using the online brochure, we will mail a free printed brochure and order form to addresses in North America. Due to postal costs, we do not mail free brochures outside of North America, but we would be glad to answer specific questions and receive orders by email.
If you send an order by email, simply give the same information requested on the Printable Order Form and keep the Printable Order Form for your own records.
If you want us to verify that the place you want is on the map you order, send us as much information as possible to help us locate it (e.g. nearest larger towns, nearest city, former and current names, etc.).

Can I order an atlas?

We travel often. We can usually check email at least once a week, but we may not be able to answer questions or fill orders while we are out of town.
Please let us know before ordering if you need your order by a certain date. We can verify that we are in town and have the item(s) that you want in stock.
