AUTUMN BLAZE RED MAPLE
Deciduous shade tree. Forms a dense, oval head with ascending branches. Attractive orange-red foliage in fall. Grows to 50'.
BLOOD GOOD JAPANESE MAPLE
Deciduous ornamental tree. Upright, graceful form. Deeply cut red foliage retains its color throughout the summer. Small-growing, under 20'. Prune in late fall or winter.
BLUE STAR JUNIPER
Needle-leaved evergreen shrub. Low, rounded habit. Dense silvery-blue foliage. Grows to 3' with about the same spread. Drought tolerant. Use for low border, foundation or specimen. Follow planting diagram exactly.
CAMELOT CRAB
A dwarf, rounded cultivar with leathery dark green-bronze foliage. Flowers are fuchsia-pink on white blooms in spring followed by rich burgundy 1/8" fruit. Disease resistant.
Chaparral Mulberry
Deciduous shade tree, Rounded crown of attractive dark green leaves provides good shade. Does not bear fruit, Medium-growing, 20-35'. Inconspicuous flowers. Prune in late fall or winter.
CLUMP EASTERN REDBUD
Small-growing deciduous tree. Blooms in very early spring with masses of delicate purplish pink flowers.
CLUMP RIVER BIRCH
Attractive papery bark exposes the gray to red-brown inner bark. Adds textural interest to the winter landscape.
CORKSCREW WILLOW
Striking small accent tree with twisted and contorted golden-green branches and stems. Willow-like.
CRIMSON FROST BIRCH
Loosely pyramidal, deciduous tree with deep purple foliage all season. Beautiful exfoliating bark. Adaptable to most heavy soils.
CRIMSON KING NORWAY MAPLE
Deciduous shade tree. Red foliage from spring through fall. Very popular for its ease of growing. Tall growing, over 35'. Yellow flower clusters bloom in early spring. Prune in late fall or winter.
GOLDEN CHAIN TREE
The most commonly grown Laburnum, is appreciated for its spreading form and dramatic floral presence. Growing to 25 feet tall, it drips with yellow flowers, left and above, that flow downward in dense racemes as long as 24 inches in late spring and early summer. Two rows of trees tied over a trellis can be trained to form a Laburnum arch, with flowers hanging down in the way of Wisteria. Sources disagree about hardiness, listing everything from Zones 3-9 to 5-7. Golden chain tree does best in full sun, some humidity, and moderately fertile, freely draining soil.
DWARF ALBERTA SPRUCE
Needle leaved evergreen tree. Symmetrical dense tree of dwarf form has light green needles. Medium growing, 3-6'. Pruning rarely needed.
DWARF KOREAN LILAC TREE
Dwarf selection on a standard for a lovely small tree for use as accent in bed or border. A profusion of single, pale lilac, fragrant blooms appear in spring.
EUROPEAN MOUNTAIN ASH
Bright orange-red berries in mid-summer through winter. Deciduous. Great tree for winter color in northern climates.
GREENSPIRE LINDEN
Deciduous shade tree. Has strong central leader with symmetrical pyramidal form. Grows to 35'. Yellowish white fragrant flowers in late spring. Yellow fall color. Tolerates urban pollution. Use as street tree, accent, specimen.
HYDRANGEA TREE
A large, rapidly growing shrub trained to tree form, reaching 10-12'. Clusters of white flowers turning pink with age. Sun.
LOUISA CRABAPPLE
An eye-catching weeping crab whose red blooms turn pink in spring, followed by persistent, golden colored fruit with rose blush in fall.
NISHIKI WILLOW
Graceful, small shrub has arching, salmon-pink stems with light green, mottled pink and white leaves.
PRAIRIE CASCADE WILLOW
A hardy willow that originated at the Morden Research Station in Canada with oval, glossy green leaves. Habit is weeping and stem color is the same as that of the weeping willow.
Redbud
Deciduous flowering tree. Small-growing, under 20'. Small purplish-pink or white single flowers, 1" diameter or less. Blooms in early spring. Greenish-pink fruit fades to brown and lasts throughout the winter. Pruning rarely needed.
ROYAL RED NORWAY MAPLE
Deciduous shade tree. Dense branching pattern and medium rounded habit highlight crimson foliage. Grows to over 35' (11 m) tall. Prune in late fall or winter.
SUNBURST HONEY LOCUST
Deciduous shade tree. Fast grower with graceful branching and golden-yellow foliage. Tall-growing, over 35'.
VARIEGATED MAPLE
Deciduous shade tree with interesting bi-color foliage. Large rounded canopy. Use as a lawn or street tree.
WALKER'S WEEPING SIBERIAN PEASHRUB
Interesting and unusual shrub with cutleaf foliage borne on attractive, pendulous branches. Bright yellow flowers in late spring. Cold hardy.
WINGED EUONYMUS, BURNING BUSH
