Short weekend this time.  Jim is working and no Jesse. Well the gerbil did die. Jesse took it pretty well, to well in fact...I asked her if she was going to buy another one...nope, she is buying a laptop (LOL! Thanks to Kelsi).  I added video I shot from Jack this morning.  Still hoping to get some time to edit more photos and post them.

Well where did the last two weeks go?  We haven't ventured outside much due to the miserably cold weather.  Jaime has been working on some sewing projects the past two weekends.  There is a local store on Main Street called 'Duck Worth Wearing'.  Jaime decided to put the sewing machine and her creative talent together, pull out some fabric from the closet, and start making bedroom sets for babies rooms.  They will include a bedspread, valances, and even some pictures in frames to hang on the wall.  Duck Worth would then sell them for Jaime.  They are a very popular place for good...no great...used baby stuff.  They carry the whole range of used baby supplies from clothes to furniture and everything in between.  We think Jaime will have a pretty easy time selling these items and could make a nice little profit when she is done.  And of course Jaime is still selling candles...check out Jaime's Gold Canyon Candle Website.
I have been feverishly working to total redesign, update, and enhance the Ames Izaak Walton League Website. Look at it now so you can see the difference in before and after shots if your interested.  Hopefully within the next week I will be uploading the new look.  Work is the same...except the hours.  We have had folks come into our group lately with higher seniority...so I got pushed back to 11am-7:30pm. Not ideal hours, but with over a third of our group being retirement eligible...maybe someday soon I will be home earlier.
Jesse is going to a friends B-Day party today, and she helped yesterday with a can drive to the local food pantry.  And yes the gerbil is fine...but Jesse is sitting right next to me and she said "no...Sophie is dying"...I'll let you know what that is all about in the next posting.
Jack is doing great.  We cut his hair two weekends ago and he looks a little older because of it.  It was getting a little crazy.  I should get a few pictures up of that too huh.  He has been holding his own bottle for the past three weeks and has recognized the sound of a bottle being made (shaking it up).  He looses focus on whatever he was doing and begins looking around to see where that bottle will show up.  He is still all smiles and as happy as ever!

The website is up!  I've been trying to get this up and going now since before Jack was born.  Now that we are getting caught up on things after the holiday we can tend to those things we would like to do, this is one of them.
