The Guild Hands of Saruman has a good web site and a direct link to it is now located on the links page of our site. This is only going to make us better and make your game experiance better. I also want to urge all alliance members to do all that you can to recruite new members. Size matters in Guild wars. With a special going on this weekend regarding Faction points I strongly encourage members to get out there and kick some Luxon tail.
On a second note I am looking for ideas for inter-alliance competitions and events that make it even more fun to be part of the OWK alliance. Changes in our Alliance.
I am sorry to report to you that the guild Ice Cream Parlor has left our Alliance. However this bad news does not come without some good news. Our alliance has new member as well. The Mercenary Knights guild is now part of our alliance. This is a small guild but it is heavily involved with Alliance Battles. If you are looking for a stable group for that activity just give those guys a shout. So give a big welcome to [MERC] to our alliance!
Just as a reminder don't forget this is Triple dye drop weekend so get out there and get you some! This could be good for all involved. As the market gets flooded with new dye drops you should see a serious drop in the dye trader prices as well.

Due to the inactivity of our former alliance I was forced to make the decision to leave. It was hard as many of the people in the Krim alliance were good people. I wish them luck and look forward to forming our new alliance and making new friends.

GVG Notes and Our Progress.
Well we have engaged in several GVG battles over the past weeks and I can say with all confidence that we need to learn more. Don't panic. Just keep your towel handy and give it time. I actually think we are doing well. The last battle we were in on 4/14/2007 was quite competitive. I firmly think we will get better and better. We are starting to develope a group of guys that are understanding the strategy. Now we need to take the next step. I know this sounds ugly but, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Guys who just show up, lose once, and leave never get to the top. The guys that prepare and stay at it succeed. Take the time to travel to the other halls and get to know their layout. This can be done via any ambasssador to guild halls. You basically get to tour the halls with this guy. The Cathan Ambassador on the ship at the docks in Lions Arch is a good example. Also please read the post about GVG play on our message board. The first post is the most relevant. It was an article posted some time ago and I re-posted it here. All the strategies are very sound and quite basic once you get into it. I found the part about stopping the apponents flag runner very interesting because our inability to stop the runner in our last battle was what turned the tide against us. I'm proud of the participation we are haveing with this and I think that if we keep a workman type attude people are going to start noticing us.

This is one Awsome Guild!.
This last crisis with a rogue officer showed me just how good this guild really is. Everyone did what they could to help and the damage caused by Raven of Healing was minimized almost immediately. Maybe its because we have been through it before but with fast action and members spreading the word of what happened We recovered all the people lost except for 2 and they are still on the invitee's list. This was a great show of unity and perhaps Raven actually did us a favor.
You will notice that I have also initialized the search for a GVG team in the guild announcements. I have recieved feedback already and I hope to get more. GVGing is tough but a whole lot of fun. Please go to the message board and chime in on the "Forming a Team" topic if you're interested. I have set some requirements for this team but it has nothing to do with level or experiance. We will all be learning and I suspect we will take our lumps of a while. If I know this group I'll bet we get pretty good with time.

Lightning Strikes Twice on OWK.
If you got kicked out of the guild and don't know why this may be your answer. It saddens me to have to announce this but it seems we once again have been betrayed by one of our own. To make matters worse he was one of our oldest members. The member I am speaking of is Raven of Healing. From this point on he is not to be allowed to return to our guild. This individual randomly promoted 2 members to officer and kicked out approximately 11 members. After all this he then left.
The persistent question through all this is WHY? Did we upset him? Did his account get hacked? Was he drunk? Did is mischievous little brother get into his account? Who knows? Just remember this. As a player of this game, your account is a direct reflection of you. If you get careless with it or get hacked or even just give it to someone, please take the time to consider just who will be affected. If you are going turn your account over to someone leave the guild first or make dam sure you can trust the person that will have your account. A lot of good people put a lot of work into this guild and all it takes is one instance to wipe us out.
If I had not logged on when I did the damage would have been much greater. I am not convinced it was actually Raven of Healing I was speaking to after I discovered what he had done. Please consider what I have said and think about how to help us not hurt us. I still think we have a great guild and this will only be a small bump in the road.
For those who fell victim to this you have a standing invitation back into our guild and all you need to do is accept to come back. I hope you do

My Decision about the Krim Alliance.
After much consideration I realized that regardless of my decision I needed to speak with the leader of Krim. This needed to be done for many reasons but honor being my first priority. I have chosen to try to help instead of just to leave. We took a look at the guilds in the alliance and mutually felt it was time to remove some guilds that just weren't participating any longer. Since your alliance can only maintain 10 total guilds it is important to keep only the most active. We will now be looking for replacement guilds that will make our game play even better and not put us to sleep. In an effort to make our alliance stronger and more fun. I have also offered our Teamspeak server use to all in the alliance. You should see some new faces around here soon!

Due to the Krim alliance's inactivity I am considering leaving. I am even considering starting an alliance of our own. If I do I would like to see our AB pick up slightly. Free online voice chat now offerd to our members!?
A slight modification is now in effect for our server. You now need to register with the server to utilize any of the channels offered. Sorry for the extra step but this helps keep our server free of uninvited guests.
The Order of the White Knights now offers Teamspeak to all its members. A dedicated server is the newest addition of the services offered to our guild. Teamspeak is a free program that allows its users to communicate via "voice over IP' technology. Canthan New Year's Festival.
The Canthan New Year's Festival event begins at Noon PST (20:00 GMT) on Friday, February 16, 2007 and will run all weekend, ending at Noon PST (20:00 GMT) on Monday, February 19, 2007. On Sunday, February 18, the Celestial Pig will drop from the sky into Shing Jea Monastery every three hours to sample Canthan delicacies. The feast culminates in dancing, fireworks, and the showering of the populace with gifts...but only if the celestial enjoys its meal.
While the bulk of the Canthan New Year's Festival, including the celestial feast, takes place in Shing Jea, Canthans living abroad have taken their customs with them as well. So expect Lion's Arch and Kamadan to host smaller celebrations, complete with traditional New Year's decorations.
However, if you want to dance the night away in your festival mask and have the chance to receive a special prize should every course of the celestial's meal be completed to perfection, you must journey to Shing Jea Monastery for the grand finale.
In addition to the great feast, look for a variety of festival-themed quests available from some colorful new NPCs, and don't forget to have your fortune read by the Fortune Teller wandering Shing Jea during the festival. If you're feeling up to a trip to the race track, you won't want to miss out on the inaugural running of the rollerbeetle races. This new PvP mini-game is sure to get your heart, and your rollerbeetle, racing.
So, mark your calendars and be sure to come help ring in the New Year, Canthan-style. You won't want to miss this brand new Guild Wars event!

OWK Site updates. With a ton of new data being made available and new weapons flowing in from Nightfall I felt it was time to give the site a good going over. This is an on going process and will take a while. The latest addition is a really informative link to some great price guides. From Mini Pets to Elonian green weapons you should be able to find it all there. Never pay too much or sell too cheap again. I've also added Elonian map links. Our Hall status is almost complete I have finally gotten enough platinum together to buy a skill trainer. This will now allow the newest of members to come to the hall and grab a pve skill whenever they want. The only ones left to get are The Scroll trader for 50k and the Material crafter for 100k. We then will have all the services available! As a personal note I would like to announce that I have finally achieved the title of Tyrian Grand Master Cartographer. In my opinion this is one of the hardest of all titles to achieve. If anyone is attempting to gain this title do hesitate to ask me if you get stumped. Up Coming Nightfall Release. The Nightfall release is near. It is scheduled to start at the end of October. After spending the weekend playing the beta it seems this is the most advanced version of Guild Wars yet. You now have a commander's compass so that you may control henchman that are referred to as Heroes. This gives you far more flexibility to solo missions if that is what you desire. Just be careful the heroes have their own agenda and one could turn against you later. I have placed several screenshots on the OWK site that will give you a feel for how Nightfall looks. MAJOR GUILD ANNOUNCEMENT The Order Of The White Knights is now part of a larger alliance. The alliance leader is the Krimzon Knightz guild. Officers and leaders are allowed to use alliance chat to plan strategies. Anyone who has factions is invited to faction battle to help us gain points and eventually larger territory in Cantha.
You will also find some new services in our guild hall. These services cost money and I have purchased all I can afford. Anyone willing to make a donation to help increase services offered in our hall is welcome to contact me at any time. Investments into our guild is a plus when considering officer advancement.

Up Coming Factions Release. With the factions release coming up there are some decisions that have to be made with the guild. For any of you that have or will buy factions I'm sure you know that we need to choose a side. I spent much of my time on the Kurzick side and build up fair level of Kurzick faction points for myself and the guild had a rating of 10 when the preview was over. We have since dropped to 2. I would like to maintain our guilds alliance with the Kurzick side and attempt to build our points back up. If your guild maintains enough points we will be issued a territory in the game. As I understand it this territory is believed to have quests and areas unique to only us.
One way to gain more Faction points now is to complete the new faction missions in Lions arch. You actually have to complete both Luxon and Kurzick missions from Lions Arch to advance to the next faction mission. I think with every member's completion of the faction missions it gains our guild more faction points. Not to mention that the larger faction missions are worth 5,000 xp for your character! I have completed it with level 20 and a level 15 characters with only henchmen with good results. Even if you don't plan on buying factions try to run these missions with every character you have and lets see if our faction points come back up.
I will be setting up a factions topic on the message board and I encourage your input on the alliances. In fact I encourage more use of the message board as I think it can only strengthen us as a guild.

Factions Free Preview Was Awesome! The weekend of 3/24/06 was full of new experiences for me and I hope it was for you as well. I spent much of my time on the Kurzik side of the faction and experienced the weapons, monsters and cities that side of the game offers. Officer Alex Packton spent time on the Luxon side to experience the same this on the Luxon side. We spent as much time there as we could and captured as many screens as possible. I will post these on the Screen shot pages of this site. I have tons of material and it will take some time to go through it all so you need to keep checking back as I continue to update that page. A True Hero Saved Our Guild After posting this message it seemed to reach some old, but still loyal, friends. One of then is Lady Aryvara. After reading our plight she has single handedly resurrected our guild with a single act. Lady Aryvara along with some other good people decided to join us and rebuild our membership to a workable level. I cannot express enough my gratitude to Lady Aryvara and the folks she has brought with her. With people like this I can see our guild only getting stronger and stronger. A Fresh Start Over the past few months this guild has gone through some changes. In January some officers of this guild took it upon themselves to practically destroy us. Many long time members were kicked out just prior to the officers leaving the guild creating hard feeling. Sadly, these friends seem to be lost forever. After some reflection I have decided to not hold any grudges over this and start a new. I changed our cape and have changed the philosophy of this guild. This explains the white cape shown in the screen shots found on this site. No one is allowed to join unless they show integrity. Promotion to officer will be held to an extremely high standard, as that is what almost destroyed us in the past. I don't care if we are a large guild or even what rating we have on the guild ladder.
