Speak With Bob

Bob Clausen, a Fox 18 KLJB TV 2004 Jefferson award recipient has devoted many hours speaking out to aid in helping adults with reading difficulties. He speaks of his own experience through years of his adult life without the ability to read. In 1980 Bob began attending adult education classes to improve his ability to read. In 1981 he became a supervisor for a large production plant. He soon found out the importance of reading and began his pursuit to assist other adults who were educationally deprived. Since then, he has spoken at many colleges and for companies throughout the country even dedicating time to assist adults one on one. Through first hand experience Bob has "lived the life" working handicapped in a highly technical world to achieve what is difficult for most individuals with no disabilities. This site reads as a life long resume from several government officials and well known individuals who have recognized Bob for his efforts in fighting adult illiteracy.
