The purpose of SBC:
Shiloh Bible Church exists to reflect the glory of God as seen through the person of His Son. As children of God, redeemed by the precious blood of Christ, we are in a blessed position. This position is held secure, not by our works, but by His work. His work is complete, finished, and effectual. We seek to wallow in this work as a pig wallows in the mud; for when we see Him for who he is, all earthly desires will fall away.
The person and work of Christ serves as our only motivation for Godly living and ministry. It is our heartbeat that each ministry at Shiloh Bible Church encourage Christ's body to be continually pursuing an ever-deepening relationship with Him. This relationship is fostered as we seek to stand firm in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (Titus 2:11-14). Christ has dealt with us, not according to our deeds (for they are worthy of hell), but according to his mercy and grace.
Christ is viewed through the sacred text -- the Bible. This is God's word to mankind, a declaration of his will, and also a picture of his glory. In this blessed book we find Christ displayed upon every page. In 2 Corinthians 3:18 Paul states that it is only as we view Christ through the word of God that we will be changed "from glory into glory". The Bible then serves as our centerpiece giving us the content necessary for "mind renewal" (Rom. 12:1-2) to take place.
We hope you will join us as we seek to reflect His glory throughout the nations.
