For our economics class investment project, I selected Target Corporation. I narrowed my choices and finally decided on Target Corporation because I was interested in learning about the company and I frequently made purchases at their chain of Target stores. Once my decision was made, I wrote a letter to send to the company. I made it in triplicate; one to e-mail, one to send in the regular mail, and one to fax to the company. I did this so that I would have a better chance of receiving a reply. Two weeks later, I received a reply from the Target Corporation Investment Department in the form of a compact summary of the corporation's goals, growth, and financial statements. This gave me some information, although it was hard to find amidst all of the statistics and numbers. I now had the basis to begin a more detailed report on Target Corporation.
