I know that getting them in an old house where there isn't a single square or straight wall was a challenge. I would like to tell of my experiences with Saratoga Woods and Bob Barth/Owner. In the summer of 1998 I began a search for new cabinets for our home. I knew that this was going to be quite an undertaking, since we had bought a house that was almost non-repairable, but we were determined to fix it to our liking. I spent many hours looking for cabinet makers/builders. I drove many miles and went to everyone I could find between Lowell, AR and Pittsburg, KS. I was imporessed with the display that Bob had, but thought I needed to search out other possibilities. After much thought and consideration, I went back to Saratoga Woods, deciding that this was where I needed to be. Bob remembered me being there several weeks earlier and that was the beginning of what I thought I would be cabinets and that would be all. We made the appointment for him to come to our home and begin his process. All that was in the kitchen (to be, it used to be the living room) was the outside walls and floor. He spent much time with us planning "the kitchen of my dreams". He has more patience than any person should have with a woman when designing my kitchen. After a couple hours, he said "I'll draw this up and be back next week, so you can have a look". He came back on the agreed on night the next week and I was "overwhelmed" with his expertice. Of course, being a woman, that gives me the ability to change my mind many times over. So, after much deliberation, the new kitchen was agreed on. I was so excited. A few weeks later, I called him and told him when the kitchen would be ready for the cabinet installation. And, of course, he was there on the designated day. The installation went as planned, of course with a few more changes I wanted. FINALLY!!! the new cabinets where in and I was estatic, to say the least. As time went on, I decided there were a few things I now wanted above the initial plans. No problem! No problem! Bob said "You dream it up, and I can probably build it", and that is what he did, and again as scheduled. I also asked him to make doors for my linen closet and pillow box, and of course, no problem, he did it to my liking. Two and a half years later, I decided it was time for Bob once again. I wanted a cabinet in my bathroom (new addition) and wanted it to match the rest of my cabinets, and of course he came through, once again. Then, a couple months later, it was time for a big cabinet for the other bathroom, so he came over, we designed it, and he had it done and installed in no time at all. Not only has he done all these things, but we have taken all of our inside doors and closet doors (21 so far) and he sprays the finish on them to match our cabinets. All of our wood is red oak and it is beautiful, it ages and I can see a change in it every month or so. There is no question in my mind as to who to recommend to build cabinets for anyone within the distance that Bob is willing to go. He's the BEST, no questions asked. I will continue to use him in the future, because this house is not done, and I still need more furniture, and he is the ONLY builder I will use. "Dream it up, explain it, he draws it & builds it". His work is excellent!

My name is Ronnie Mitchel. My wife and I had a new home constructed this past year. I acted as general contractor. I soon realized it was hard to find subcontractors that you could really trust or count on. This was not the case with Bob Barth at Saratoga Wood Designs. He worked with us in a professional manner from start to finish asd was straight forward on everything. I believe he is a man of integrity. I highly recommend him. The cabinets are beautiful and my wife loves them.
