Bentonsport Gardens are found in the historic district of Bentonsport,
Iowa one of the scenic Villages of Van Buren County.
The gardens
are within the remains of an old mill foundation. This property is
owned by Van Buren County and managed by the Conservation Board.
A group of volunteers plan and maintain the gardens with approval of the
Board.
The primary
purpose of the gardens are to provide an area of enjoyment, beauty and
relaxation for residents and visitors. The gardens present a variety
of roses and perennials that perform well in this area.
