      My   Does

My Goats:  My fainting goats are a pure joy to me, if you are looking for a sweet goat that doesn't climb and jump like a regular goat a fainting goat might be what you are looking for. They are calm and sweet, mine love to be petted.

Here are my goats:

Born 2002

First there is Kroll's Hilly Acres Calamity Jane. Around here she is just known as Jane. She is a registered Fainting goat, and the sweetest animal you could ever want. Check back as I will be adding newer pictures of Jane and her much awaited offspring

  Jane as a young doe

  Jane a little older

As you can see she has changed. Now she is as wide as a coffee table, but still a  sweetheart . This photo was taken in the winter and Jane has her winter woolies on. Incase you are wondering that's her goose in the photo. For reasons I don't know he has decided Jane is his chosen one. He loves her.

UPDATE: Bad news, I took Jane to the vet for what I thought was a bee sting, only to be told she had an infection in her heart. It caused the valves to not work right. So what I thought was swelling from a bee sting, was fluids from her heart shutting down. My vet only gave her a 30% chance to live. I have been doctoring her, I will not give up without a fight. This problem has also made her very thin and anemic. Wish Jane good health, send her good healing thoughts, and come back soon for update.

Update: I had Jane to yet another vet. This one has helped. Jane is better now, not 100% as that will never be again. But allot better then before. She is the queen. We pretty much let her do as she pleases. She knows she is special and uses it to her best advantage. I hope to have her with me for a few more years, which the new vet says is very possible with a little special care. The new vet also said Jane could be a mom again if she so decides.

               Kroll's Hilly Acres Eve

Born 2002

This is Eve, she is a chocolate and white fainter. I fell in love with her at first site. Eve is Jane's half sister, same momma different dad. She is a sweet little girl.

Second photo here is Eve, she  was  entered in the online cyber show and placed  5th out of 27 does. I am real proud of her.

Wild Rose Acres Smiley

Meet Smiley,

Smiley is a found goat. She is not a young goat, was told she is 7 or 8. I am hoping she gives me a doe so I can keep her line going as I love the way this old gal is built.

To think that this is what Smiley looked like when she first arrived, A real diamond in the rough , only goes to show what a little TLC can do:

I kept back 3 of my own little girls this year. Here they are.

Wild Rose Acres Miss Kitty

Born 3/16/2005, if you have been through my website, you know she is out of Alice, I lost Alice after she had her babies as she had a hole kicked in her uterus. I kept Kitty as she reminded me so much of her mom. Kitty is naturally polled and sweet as they come. The  photo was taken sept. of 2007

Next we have

Wild Rose Acres Easter Lilly

Lilly was born on Easter Sunday 3/27/2005. She is gorgeous. A big girl she has her daddies beautiful crystal blue eyes. She also has personality plus as I have told her since birth she is special and she wants to be treated as such.

Lilly was entered in the online cyber show and placed 4 out of 18 entries .

Then there is

Wild Rose Acres April

April was born on April 1st of 2005. No joke here this little girl is a gem and a half. April was born with blue eyes but they have since changed to brown. I don't care I love her anyway. She is special because she is only the second baby I have gotten from my Jane. Since I lost Jane's first born this year, I was so happy to see April come along.

Cisco has been doing some growing here he is at a little over a year old.

Well its been awhile I thought it was time to update Cisco's photo. He has been doing even more growing. He is now 3 years old and turning into a fine herdsire.

Born 3/19/2005

What a guy, Gunner was born with blue eyes but they have since changed. This is a pity because he was so striking with them. Gunner comes from Judy Hartman at Prairie View Acres. She has some great looking goats that are so personable. He will be the one I use on my little girls I held back this year. Cant wait to see what they produce together.
