     I will need to start with a little disclaimer.  I am not a professional aquarium keeper.  Nor do I have any specialized training in the fields of chemistry, biology, geology, or any other area of specialization applicable to aquarium keeping.

      Since there do not seem to be that many of us doing things the way I do I thought I might as well try to document some of it.  I hope that you enjoy reading about my experience with aquariums in general and Man Made Live Rock (Aragocrete, Aragonite Rock, Home Made Live Rock, DIY Live Rock, or whatever other name you know it by) in specific.

    I have tried to organize this site in some fashion of logical order, but do not mistake me for a web designer.  If something does not clearly fit in any other category it will most likely be found in the "General" section.

    Below is a synopsis of what you will find in each section of this site.

History -  Here you will find some of my background as it relates to aquariums in general and how I decided to delve into building a mini reef.

Hardware - This is where I will go over all things hardware.  Both current as well as past experiences with anything hardware related will be found here.
General -  This is where you will find general topics such as water quality, livestock, etc..  Essentially everything that doesn't clearly fall into one of the other categories.
Man Made Live Rock -  This section deals only with my experience with Aragocrete, Aragonite Rock, Home Made Live Rock, DIY Live Rock, or whatever other name you know it by.  I've heard it called many things, yet have chosen to call my particular formula and methods Man Made Live Rock because that seems the simplest thing to call it that defines what it is.
Mistakes -  In this section I will highlight to various degree all the things that I have done regarding aquariums that make me look like an idiot.  Mind you I do this for the benefit of anyone who can use this information to avoid these pitfalls themselves as my ego couldn't handle doing it for any other reason.
Picture Index - I will add links to all the pictures on the whole site so that if your looking for one in particular you should have no trouble finding it here.
Help -  Where to find help when you need it.  I will have some basics outlined and also add some links that I have found valuable as well.
