Latino Tobacco Coalition Project Coordinator

Proteus, a non-profit agency serving Latinos and farmworkers, has an opening in Des Moines. New position will establish a state-wide community coalition to address tobacco use, education, and control among Iowa’s Latino population. The work plan for the first year includes a community needs assessment, and strategic planning. Duties include supervision, budgeting, reporting, training, project management, and monitoring. Requirements include travel around state, public speaking, communication skills, computer knowledge of MS Word and Access, valid driver’s license, and min. car insurance. Bilingual Spanish required. Minimum qualifications: AA Degree and 1 year experience in project management, public health, or management.
