Fan after ruining radiator |
1. Some first things I did were clean and test instrument gauges,had the Clock rebuilt, added and painted a diffrent dash 2.Different fuel tank and a new sending unit,cleaned and Painted with rust encapsulator the bottem of trunk pan 3.New carburetor had a 600cfm Holly on it when bought. I stayed with the same,but how think a 750cfm would be better. 4.Recored the radiator my guess was a bad fan clutch let the fan get into it. It had some play,my guess was wrong. 5.Started on the trunk pan not bad just some pin holes,going to paint it B-5 blue when done 6.2006 Recored the radiator as per the picture of the fan.My guess now is engine or tranny mounts going to replace both. |
Things to do list Bucket seats with buddy seat.Have them they need recovered and may change them to white Change the grille. Have one that needs a good cleaning and re painted Finish the trunk,and clean up engine bay Add a rear deck spoiler New fan,and leaf springs |
