More photos from the fair! These are from the hours I spent bored at the poultry show.
The first one is of broiler chickens in a shopping cart. Yes, that is correct, a shopping cart. That is how they transport them from place to place at the show. A bit haunting for the chickens, no? Well, it's not nearly as bad as having the lamb booth next to the sheep barn....
The second is of some more broilers in a cage. Nothing special about them...
The third, now that is a story. So like I said, we were bored out of our minds... we were stuck doing nothing for HOURS... all we had was a newspaper and a box of safety pins.... after we had memorized the TV scheduale and had even made up a game about it, plus we did the word puzzle ("LOTS OF PLUCK") all we had left was the safety pins.... so we started stringing them together. Then we (three girls) decided to gang up on the only guy of the group. We made a harness, put it on, and then clipped the leash onto a nearby cage. HAHAHA we did it multiple times without him noticing that he was tied down! Then we got a bit bored of that... so we strung some more together and started clipping them to his shirt. Then we noticed a pattern... it looked like butterfly wings! So that is what we made. It was quite funny and of course I had to take a picture!

I took these photos last weekend at... well, where else!? the fair. My camera batteries were dying so they came out screwy, but heck, they are still cool aren't they? They have not been edited except the third was cropped. I actually know the kid that was doing the act. I never thought that he was so good at his hobby! The judge and audience just loved it! I really like the colors, I think the camera brightened them a bit except the third one. I don't know what happened to it. LOL The green lines in the background are a green curtain.
