1982 Chrysler Imperial
NOW PARTING OUT!!!

Here are a few pictures of the car.
The grill is broken and one of the
headlight covers has a crack. The windshield also has a spider
crack. The rest of the glass is good. The bumpers have some
corrosion.
The only serious rust is
this small hole behind the right rear wheel opening. There is
some surface rust around the gas fill. The tires are in good
shape and have quite a bit of tread.
It has the original
leather seats. The rear seats are in good condition, however the
front ones are badly worn and torn. The headliner is missing. The
wipers work but don't "park" when turned off. The radio
works but the power antenna doesn't retract. The odometer reads
approx. 35,000 miles, which I would guess to be 135,000.
The engine is the 318 with the factory
EFI. I am selling it as a non-running vehicle. The engine may
idle, but it gasps and dies when the vehicle is put into gear. I
assume it is something with the EFI, which I understand can be a
nightmare to troubleshoot. As the engine is now, it should be
considered not driveable. Battery NOT included.
The paint is badly faded
and there are a couple of small dents in the hood.
The car is located about 20 miles south of Des Moines, IOWA.
I may consider parting the car out (After 3/1/2002). I'll be happy to try to answer any questions.
