The Parish Pastoral Council assists the Pastor in the following ways:
 | Periodically reviews the Mission of the Parish, its goals and priorities |
| Reviews activities of parish groups and organizations; |
| Annually calls for renewing the Time and Talent of parishioners, to call forth their gifts, and encourage and motivate parishioners in Service to fellow parishioners, and to the community of Guthrie Center - both as a parish unit, and in cooperation with the Guthrie Center Association of Churches, in its various activities and programs. |
| The Ministry of sharing our Catholic Faith through the Religious Education programs of the parish - grade school and High School; |
| The ministry at Worship - The Mass - weekend Liturgies - and Seasonal celebrations, as Advent/Christmas, and Ash Wednesday and Lent, Holy Week and Easter, Pentecost. |
