Meetings:

Altar and Rosary Meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Parish Hall. Meeting months are August through May. Chairpersons for the month are requested to be at the meeting so events can be discussed.  To ensure a successful Altar and Rosary organization, your participation is requested. The officers would appreciate your attendance at the monthly meetings.

Dues:

Please use the envelope on front of this booklet to submit your $3.00 dues. This may be placed in the treasurer's mailbox at church or mailed to her home.

Monthly Chairperson Information:

If your committee is in charge of a special event at the hall, there is a notebook with information located in the office. Please consult this notebook to help you plan for the event. Chairpersons and/or Co-Chairpersons of the month should contact committee members for help with parish events for the month.

Wedding/Anniversary Celebrations:

Although it doesn't happen often, Altar and Rosary may be asked to help with wedding or anniversary receptions that occur in the hall. Altar and Rosary's responsibility for such events is manpower (woman power). The family must provide food, beverages, paper plates, napkins, etc.

Bingo at the New Homestead :

RE students will be hosting Bingo at the New Homestead for the residents. Monthly committees are not needed to help. RE teachers will purchase prizes and submit the bill to Altar and Rosary.

Generations of Faith Meals:

September through April monthly committees will serve a Generations of Faith Meal. The chairpersons for the committee will determine what to serve. The meals are served from 6:15-6:45 p.m. Committee members will be asked to bring food and/or be asked to help serve. Please bring your husband and children to help if you'd like. Generations of Faith is a FAMILY experience. See yearbook for more instr.

Funeral Luncheons:

Beidelman-Twigg will contact Barb Flanery, Bereavement Coordinator. If any other funeral home is used, the family will need to contact Barb at 747-8203. Barb will contact the chairperson of the monthly committee to relay information from the family such as what they would like served and how many they expect at the luncheon. The monthly chairperson will refer to the yearbook for complete instructions.
