All the registered women of St. Cecilia’s Parish belong to the St. Cecilia’s Council of Catholic Women. Our purpose is to serve in the functions and needs of the parish.

We meet bi-annually or when otherwise announced in the Sunday bulletin. The officers consist of a Chair, Co-chair and Treasurer. There are no dues.

Our council consists of twelve Circles. These are divided into three Circles per quarter. Each Circle is assigned a month in their assigned quarter. Each Circle has the responsibility to host the functions for their month. Each Circle may call upon the other Circles in their quarter if more help is needed.

The functions we are involved in are as follows: serving Funeral dinners, Holy Week breakfast, the May Celebrations: which are a combination of First Communion, Confirmation, newly confirmed RCIA members, and the Graduates. This will be a catered meal for all the Parish. The Prison Ministries are served by the Angel Tree in December in which a committee is assigned.

The two fundraisers are the Chicken Dinner and the Cookie Carnival. Assigned duties will be assigned by the committees of each.

Once a year a spiritual field trip is planned with our spouses. This will be announced in the Sunday Bulletin.

St. Cecilia’s is a dynamic, rapidly growing Parish. Come and join us in our planned activities for 2009-2010.
