This model incorporates many of the distinguishing features of the DeHavilland primary trainer which was popular in all the British Crown Colonies prior to the end of WWII. Features like dihedral in the wings, functioning side door, wire braced center section (bicycle spokes), optional wooden interplane struts and the unmistakable DeHavilland tail, make this a modeler's delight. This is an all new model. Built to the same standards as the previous ones. It is patterned after the F14 Tom Cat of Top Gun fame. For safety reasons, the wing was swept forward like the Grumman X29 to act as an out-rigger. This model incorporates a unique nose wheel steering with 1-1/2" suspension and an unbreakable windshield. Adjustable relay rods permit the pedal system to grow with the child. The decal set includes Air Force, Marine and Navy markings plus a full color instrument panel.
