Jim Williams has been calling since 1985,
and he and his wife Pat have been dancing since 1982. Jim is a
member of Callerlab, East Central Iowa Caller’s Association
and the Central Iowa Caller’s Association.
Jim is an electronics technician for
Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids where he has been employed
since 1974. Jim is originally from Hodgenville, Kentucky where
he was born and raised. Jim’s hobbies include computers, and
motorcycling. He likes to take a couple of weeks off in July
and go on a motorcycle vacation trip, usually going west to
places like Yellowstone, Glacier, and Rocky Mountain National
Parks, and other picturesque places.
Pat is a Registered Nurse and works in the
OB department at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City where she has
been employed since 1972. Pat is a native Iowan having grown
up in Osceola, Iowa. Pat’s hobbies are cross-stitching,
quilts, and other crafts.
Jim and Pat met while taking square dance
lessons and were married in 1985. They enjoy square dancing
and motorcycle riding. Both are members of the Coralville
Methodist Church where Jim is a Sunday school teacher. They
have no children but share their home with two very spoiled
black cats named Biker and Pappy.
