Oak Tree Hideaway Bed & Breakfast
In
2009 we sold our home and started looking for a new
adventure. We have enjoyed visiting the many different Bed
& Breakfast accommodations the past
15 years with friends and family, and enjoyed the opportunity to help
with
breakfast preparations at a local B&B. As we looked for a new
home we found
the perfect fit for us, and something that would be enjoyable to
travelers that
venture to Jefferson and are looking for a unique place to stay. The
park-like setting gives it that touch of nature.
The
lady of the house“Pete" operates the Bed &
Breakfast. Duane works at the local telephone company during the day
and is the handy man at night. We enjoy our church and community
activities. Our children are grown now and we are enjoying our
grandchildren.
The
Oak Tree Hideaway Bed & Breakfast is a Colonial style home
that was built in the 70's among a grove of White Oak trees on the back
of a one acre lot. The home sets behind other homes and is not visible
by
the normal
flow of traffic, off the beaten path one may say. We enjoy the
wildlife and quietness of being back in nature's hideaway. We have
found that deer are frequent visitors to the Bed
& Breakfast and the birds sing us a new song each day.
We believe in our community and promote Jefferson any opportunity we get. Whether you are staying at the Oak Tree Hideaway, or other lodging, we believe your visit to Jefferson will be a memorable one.
