There are 8-10 week sessions of pre-school story hour administered by the children's librarian. Some of the story hours are presented on Cable 3 TV by the Northwestern college students as part of their Children's Literature class.
The Summer Reading Program and Funshop is held in conjunction with the Orange City Summer Recreation Program.
The Discovery Club introduces elementary school children to drama and reading.
There is a weekly Saturday afternoon movie hour.
