The NVRA Board of Directors is making plans for the opening of the golf course, pool and clubhouse for the 2006 season. We are looking forward to the new opportunities that 2006 will bring us and we hope that our members both present and new are just as excited and ready for some fun!

First, we are pleased to announce that the clubhouse and kitchen has been leased to Tammy Board, owner of the Tin Cup in Carson, Iowa. She plans to open approximately April 1 and will be open for noon lunches, evening meals and Sunday Breakfast.

The lounge area, pool and golf course will be managed as in other years and available for use as soon as Mother Nature allows. We hope to introduce league play to the membership this year and some other member options. Final details are still being worked out but, please plan to join in.

The dues structure has changed for the 2006 season. We have provided several options for you to consider. The following provides some further details:

1. The family membership structure has changes slightly. Married couples whose spouse or children do not play golf may join as a single. If the spouse or children attend a NVRA event and play, they must pay green fees.
2. Family or single memberships can be paid by March 15 and receive a discount or paid in two or four installment. All installment dues must be paid by July 1 and a minimum of the first installment be paid prior to golfing the first time.
3. Pay as You Play: Something new for NVRA. Members can pay a reduced membership and receive full membership privileges for league play, tournaments and pool but each time you play golf you must pay a reduced green fee. Please contact a board member if you have any further questions.
4. Carts: For those individuals (member or non-member) bringing a private cart (not stored) to use at NVRA must pay a daily drop fee of $5.
