On Saturday, September 19, 2009, the EV History Center sponsored a gathering in memory of Tim Carson, the well-remembered teacher and coach at English Valleys who died suddenly and unexpectedly on September 1, 1989. On this day, twenty years after his death, many of his former students and players, colleagues, friends, and family came together to remember him.
