This is a page that would be useful
to be completed if this site were really being used to introduce
foreign students to American college life.
For this project it was not completed
out of a lack of time, and to meet the criteria that I choose the
top 3-4 issues and present them in full on this project site.
This page would contain information for
foreign students regarding the typical American family structure,
which is much different in many ways than family structure in most
of the rest of the world. This page would attempt to explain
to someone unfamiliar with living thousands of miles away from
family members, why exactly American families seem to be so
"distant" from one another, and how the distance between them really
doesn't hinder the connection between family members. |
