Bro. Bart Dame to the Dominican Republic Reports...
Last month (August) was such a blessing to us. I want to thank Bro. Manning for having
the confidence in our family to leave us to work the ministry here. I shared the preaching times with another missionary that lives about an hour away. We had one saved during the preaching services and had many new visitors during the month. The church will be celebrating its one year anniversary in November. Please continue praying, as the Lord leads more to visit.

We do have two urgent prayer requests: 1. School material. The church that was helping us with the school material for the children is not able to continue. They have been using the A.C.E. material since starting, their education. Is there anyone that can help by supplying the material or by keeping the records? As you know, school has already started and Lori needs to finish her senior year. 2. A vehicle. The Mannings spoiled us by letting us use their van for the month they were gone. Now we are reliant on taxis again. Please pray for God to lead us in buying a good vehicle for the ministry. Keep in touch. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. Siempre en Cristo, Bro. Bart Dame
Missionary Bro. Payne to Wales Reports...

We have arrived safely back in Wales to the work in which the Lord has called us. The
reporting in America of the Lord's work in Wales was a time of refreshing and blessing.
A special thank you to the churches we were able to be with.

Arriving back to the work brings new vision and commitment. A real desire is for many more souls to be saved and for personal committment from those we have led to the Lord. We are still in need of a permanent building. The Lord knows this need, so please pray hard.

We value your prayer for special meetings we are having in the future with the GPA Bible Convention scheduled in October. Pray for the Bible Institute as we begin in a week's time.
Yours for His service, Brother Payne
Bro. Jim Roe to Cuba Reports...

I rejoice to be able to report to you a successful trip to and from Russia. While there, I found many similarities with Cuba, especially the glaring spiritual void wrought by years of Communism and an official Godless society. In the city of Samara, where I worked, 80,000 Russian New Testaments were distributed; over 300 were led to Christ; and the city wide meeting was attended by over 600 people.

An unexpected blessing was being able to use my Spanish in witnessing to a Bolivian man traveling from China to Bolivia via Moscow. The Lord saw to it that our paths crossed in the same far-away city and that we lodged in the same hotel on the same day. Victor Hugo gladly received the Lord. I'm so glad that nothing takes God by surprise. By the time most of you receive this letter, Melissa and I will be back on Cuban soil resuming our work there. Thank you once again for your continued love for us and for our ministry. Cuba for Christ, Bro. Jim Roe
