Dear Harvest,
X
I once heard someone say, "Happy people are not wealthy or talented people; they do not even know
who they are because they are lost in a cause." I could tell you of a method for sure happiness. It is to
Get Lost! Lose yourself in a cause! The cause I am referring to is not in sports, a business, a company, a musical group, nor an organization. This cause is the cause of Christ. In Mark 16:34-35 we find Jesus saying, "... Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it." Which cause are you fighting for? I could show you people in our
area that need someone to lose themselves in a cause--fighting for them, their salvation, their changed
lives, and their growing in God's grace and knowledge. We have many faithful bus workers who give
their time, energy, and money for a very worthy cause. Will you?

The cold weather is coming upon us and the insurmountable task of keeping the buses rolling is at hand. The sad thing is that even when the buses are able to roll, they will not because of our need for faithful drivers and workers. There are two men and two ladies working to get their CDL's to allow them to help drive the buses. Pray for them to be successful and for more to get lost in the cause. It would be terrible that people would want to come to church and that we would have no way to get them here.
With Christ after the Lost,
Bro. Nelson
