Our latest trip was to San Diego to see Eric Jensen and for me to get some training for work.  Here we are in the mountians.  Apparently, it is custom in Califronia to take overwieght, out of shape Iowans hiking in the mountians. 

  This is the valley we hiked around on the ridge of the mountians that formed it.

  The scenery was really fantastic and it was great to see.  Here we are sucking wind while Eric makes sure we don't pass out and fall down the mountian.

  This is what we really came to see.  You just can't get this kind of view in Iowa.  All in all a very good time.  But next time we'll ride horses.

We spent some time on Captive Island just north of Sanibel Island off Fort Meyers Florida with my parents.

  This is the resort we stayed at called Tween Waters.  You can see the tennis courts we took lessons at and even played a few sets.

Here is the cottage Bec and I stayed at and the beach right in front of it.  Yes, that's my mom with the Mexican sumbraro on.
