Here are some of the airplanes I have owned and flown over the years. They range from 65 hp taildraggers to 300 hp taildraggers to 250 hp tri geared craft.
This craft is a tripacer Built by Piper in the 50's.
This is a Cessna Cardinal built in the mid seventies. It is a very roomy and comfortable airplane. I enjoyed flying this one as much as any during my flying carrer.
This aircraft is a Cessna 172 built in the 50's. They are not a fast airplane but are a lot of fun to fly. The cruise speed is about 110 miles per hour. It is a four passenger plane with a 140 HP Continental engine. I have logged about 500 hours in this type of aircraft.
Here we have a twin engined Cessna Skymaster which I flew one time. A very solid feeling aircraft. This plane is the only twin I ever had the opportunity to fly.
Here is a Piper Arrow. This is a fast little
four passenger bird with 200hp and
retractable landing gear. I have about 100 hrs in
this type of aircraft. This little
rascal will cruise at about 165mph. A good choice
for quick cross country travel.
The airplane in the background picture is a Noth
American P51 "Mustang". I had a friend in
the 60's who owned one of these and I was
fortunate enough to get a ride in it one time.
Now that is a thrilling experience and if you ever get the chance
to ride in one of these WWII fighters do it. The
Photo used for this background was downloaded from Fencer's P-51D
Mustang Hangar where there are numerous world
war II aircraft pictures.
