I started my agency in 1982 after seven years as a struggling farmer. In 1984 I became Secretary/Manager of Van Buren Mutual Insurance Association, a County Mutual insurance company located in Keosauqua Iowa. I started with the company as a loss adjuster, learning the Farm Mutual insurance business from the ground up. I have an office on Highway #1 in Keosauqua.

I am an independent agent, with Van Buren Mutual Insurance Association, The Grinnell Mutual Group and Orion Auto as my principal insurance carriers.

Through my association with several different brokerage firms, I can also help you with your life insurance needs.
