GSASL Medals and Decorations

The following awards and decorations are available to GSASL players playing as the Japanese in a GSASL campaign:

Wound Badge - Awarded by Batt. CO each time the GSASL player's company strength of retained units is less than 50% of full company strength (based upon US#)

Order of the Sacred Treasure - Awarded by Batt. CO each time the player's GSASL Campaign game score is +5 or better, GSASL Ladder Points total is 100+ AND a) the player loses 10 or fewer CVPs during the mission (including any temporarily attached units) or b) 2+ heroes appear for the player in a mission.
The first time this award is earned it is 8th Class, the second, 7th Class and so on...
Note: This award has eight classes, all with different medal designs. A 5th Class and a 2nd Class medal are pictured here.

Order of the Rising Sun - Must have 150+ Ladder points. Must have played at least 10 total GSASL missions. Awarded by Regimental CO, upon recommendation of Batt. CO after player's GSASL Campaign game score is +7 or better and Reg. and Batt. CO are satisfied player has been suitably successful in following orders and is supported by AARs in overcoming enemy obstacles and problems faced on the battlefield.
The first time this award is earned it is 8th Class, the second, 7th Class and so on...
Note: This award has eight classes, all with different medal designs. A 5th Class and a 2nd Class medal are pictured here.

Order of the Golden Kite - Must have 250+ Ladder points. Awarded by Regimental CO, upon recommendation of Batt. CO. All leaders in player's GSASL company must be 10-0 or better. Unit may not have any green or conscript units. At least one squad must be elite. All leaders must pass a NTC. Award still at discretion of Regimental CO, based upon the player's AARs
The first time this award is earned it is 7th Class, the second, 6th Class and so on...
