Once again, I’ve let the website lapse for a year. I’ve determined that this never ending project is… never going to end… Anyway, latest project update: focused for the last year on building the wife a customized 71 Sporty. First Harley I’ve ever done, and I’m about done. I’ve sunk over 450 hours in it now since last year May. If I would have known how much it was going to cost and how long it was going to take…. I probably wouldn’t have done it. I’ve only got to fab front fork stops yet, do some body work on the tank, and paint it, then reassemble it and wire it….only…. I figure another two months and I’ll have this monkey off my back… Regarding the trike: 1) Rear gas tank mount it done/completed/finished… ahhhh 2) Battery tray (removable) is fabricated and installed- with battery. 3) Brake plumbing is now completed 4) Made some refinements on the brake/clutch assemblies 5) Changed my mind about 50,000 times on the tire/wheel combo. 6) Changed my mind multiple times about handling the tunnel covering Otherwise – it don’t look much different that last years photos. Kind of depressing… Will post current photo soon. |
