EDDIE'S RESCUE
This little squirrel had decided to take a drink from our water trough when he evidently fell in.
The water was too low for him to get back out. We have no idea how long he had been swimming
around, trying to get out when Eddie found him. Eddie put an old board in the trough for the
squirrel to climb out on. After climbing out, the little guy clung to the board for a couple of
hours until he quit shivering and got enough strength back to leave. So now, besides horses,
dogs, and cats, we can add 'squirrel rescue' to our list. *S*
