I'm so positive that *redacted* killed Judi Huisentruit that I'd bet my entire farm on it. You can just tell that he's demented and lying in the videos by a simple look on his face. Why doesn't someone put the pedal to him and force him to crack. Why don't the police crack the whip to his lying censored. The thing that scares me is that if *redacted* killed once he may kill again.

There was a guy who lived in Jodi's complex in Mason City who bragged about "having her in the basement". He was living in Waverly, Iowa about a year after Jodi disappeared and he was telling people this at a party. I told the authorities about this after he continually harrassed me by leaving nearly 30 very graphic, violent messages (stalker-like) on my answering service. I called the police, he was arrested, and spent a little time in jail. This has always haunted me. I wonder if the authorities followed up on this? I also am aware of the "older guy" in one of the postings. I met him at the OP in Mason City in 1995 or 1996. I believe he lives in Arizona now.
I will always remember the morning that Jodi was abducted, I was getting ready to go babysit when I first heard about it. I have been following it since the beginning. What a tragic thing to have happen to a loved one. Jodi and her family have been and always will be in my thoughts and prayers, God Bless !!!

The Minnesota authorities have the check Jodi wrote from her Mason City, Iowa bank account! She was last seen in a Minnesota Convenience by the store manager. Her check was recovered from the bank where it was deposited! It WAS Jodi's personal check and Jodi's handwriting was recognized and confirmed by her family! Kansas Bureau of Investigation KBI 1-800-572-7463 will give you the Kansas BCA crime lab number. They have the mid-1980's white Ford Ecnoline Contractor type Van that was also seen in Hallock, Minnesota and was later recovered at the crime scene of the last victim. A mud-splattered woman's business suit was recovered along with a ring that fit the description of the one given to Jodi shortly before her disappearance. A purse that fits the description of the purse Jodi had with her, has also been recovered. How much evidence do you need? A white T-shirt type blouse and Navy Blue jogging shorts once worn by the late Julie Ann Holmquist were recovered along with the knife that had been used to kill her. She may have been wearing a boys ring on a chain, if she had been, this was also recovered, it was found hanging on the rearview mirror.The first three victims were EXACT look a likes. He was rejected by her years ago and he has killed women who have looked like her ever since! A Ted Bundy want to be who has killed five women in four states. Florida 1 - Iowa 1 - Minnesota 1 - Kansas 2. I have spent FOUR YEARS investigating this crime spree and it is accurate!

Jodi was abducted in the parking lot of Jodi's apartment building and by a man seen in a white Ford Econoline Van, this Van was seen slowing down a half mile from where Julie Holmquist disappeared. They have a mud-splattered woman's business suit in their possession. They also have a ring that fits the description of a ring Jodi received shortly before Jodi disappeared. The man has been in custody since 1999. They have three victims they can't account for. I have accounted for all three. They are: Jennifer Renee Odom of Dade City, Florida - Jodi Sue Huisentruit of Mason City, Iowa - Julie Ann Holmquist of Hallock, Minnesota. The three victims all look alike, the reason they were killed in the first place. The white T-shirt blouse and blue jogging shorts of Julie Holmquist has been recovered from the van and are now on file with Kansas authorities. The Huisentruit family should check Jodi's canceled checks, The Mason City, Iowa account. The last check or next to the last check was written out to a Minnesota convenience store. This is/was her last public appearance in Minnesota. Her body is hidden near here. The kille, now a Kansas jailbird is her killer. He has killed five times. Did Julie Holmquist have a boyfriend's ring on a chain when she disappeared? That was found hanging from the rear view mirror of the van.

We got Lorenzo Bahena Sanchez and convicted him on THREE MURDERS! Lorenzo Bahena Sanchez killed Krystal Baker of Texas City, Texas and was facing the death penalty. He was identified as the killer through fingerprints and a DNA match. Krystal Baker was the grand niece of Norma Jean Baker, it doesn't help your case when you kill the relative of a famous relative! I'm from North Iowa about 50 miles from Mason City and I also have been following this case for a long time. I use to watch Jodi everyday on her morning show also. It's terrible what happened to her and now people from the Mason City area and surrounding communities should realize that things can happen like this even in small towns. My heart goes out to her friends, family and co-workers at KIMT. I hope one of these days that the police, and FBI can wrap this case up and tell us what happened to Jodi that early morning of June 27th, 1995. We all want Jodi to be alive and well. It's been 9 years now, so it's hard to say wheather or not she is still here, but I hope soon there will be some answers. I also read where when Jodi first moved to Mason City that some older man was infatuated over her and that he send her flowers and other trinkets to her apt and also to the television station and that Jodi and told her friends and co-workers about it. She said that this guy was obsessed with her and she wanted to distance herself from him. Has the Mason City Police Department or the FBI did any follow-ups on this guy??? Do they know the name or this guy??? Maybe he had something to do with her disappearance.I will be praying for her family & friends that this case will soon come to a close and on a happy note. We all miss her and hopefully the answers are not to far away on what happened to Jodi 9 years ago.

I stumbled on your site. It's refreshing to run across someone on the web that's not spitting tedious, sophmoric, vapid anti-Bush rants. I think the AWOL cartoon was "pithy". It clinches the whole issue. I was temporarily assigned to an admin unit while I was in the Marines and I processed seperation papers. The presses' ignorance of seperation technicalities is stunning but Kerry should know better as a navy vet (did you know he was in Veitnam?).
Hey Keith! I'm not sure if you remember me or not. I was a fellow KIMT employee from 1991-1994 (I think). I was a production assistant at the time, working part time and going to school at MCHS. Ahh, those were the days...Holly, Brett, Cami, Robin, etc. etc. I was just doing a seach on Jody Huisentruit, thinking it was about this time that she disappeared. I am originally from Mason City. I was frightened when I heard the news of Jody's disappearance and that something like this could happen in the town that I lived in and felt safe in. Every year when July 27th comes around, I think of Jody. It made me realize how much I take for granted and that in any moment everything could be gone. So every year I pray that we think of Jody and hope for her safe return home.

A few weeks back, out of thin air Jody popped in my head! I remember first hearing about her disappearance and was wondering whatever became of Jody !!! Checking the internet I see she's never been found !! I will pray for Jody and her Family for closure !! Why did she popped in my head ? I guess she need my prayers!

Hi Mason City, Iowa, I was looking through the Mason City homepage and came across this on Jodi, I wish this case was solved by now and it is going on 7 years next month. Hello Keith, I was sitting at work killing some time on the internet and realized I had never done a search on Clear Lake. Lo & behold your name pops up. I still can't get used to how small the world becomes when using this technology. I am an actuarial analyst for an insurance company in St. Louis, but I still get up to CL/MC 3-4 times a year. Even though my family no longer lives in CL, I ended up marrying a woman from MC. Hope all is well with you. I still remember that you gave me my first snowmobile ride of my life. I think you had a Polaris (?). It's crazy the stuff the mind chooses to remember.
