gapminder

data never looked so good

Yes, we've all overloaded on pie charts and bar graphs filled with information that seemed to make no sense or carried only the most tenuous connection to the world we know or live in. But it doesn't have to be that way.

The wizards behind gapminder want to illustrate everything we need to know in ways that make it interesting, even entertaining. Isn't that part of the skill of business storytelling we're encouraged to develop?

If you don't think data-filled charts and graphs can have a whole new meaning, gapminder could change your mind. Video clips of presentations show you how it's done. Lots of other links lead to even more interesting ways to slice and dice the info.

Watch gapminder's creator, Hans Rosling, demonstrate gapminder in one of his several TEDtalks.

Now, you have no excuse for creating more typical or boring PowerPoint presentations. So what are you waiting for?!?
