219. Arne Latham (34)(11) (4)(6) was born in 1809 in Montgomery, Alabama. He died on Aug 12 1901 in Bosque County, Texas. He was a Captain of Texas Rangers. He was born a twin to Beverley Latham. Arne married his former sister-in-law 2 years after his brother's death. He fought along side his Uncle Isaac and his brother, Beverley at the massacre of Dove Creek, TX. Both his uncle and brother were killed by Indians during this attack. He was made a Captain in the Texas Rangers after the battle at Dove Creek, Texas. He was also cited for his bravery during the battle at Dove Creek. When he finally died as an old man, he was buried with full military honors by the Texas Rangers.
