He was married to Hannah BRANCHSCROFT in 1762 in Floyd County, Georgia. Hannah BRANCHSCROFT⁽⁶⁾ was born about 1741 in Floyd County, Georgia. She died about 1800 in Floyd County, Georgia. She has reference number Roots Research. She was a housewife/mother. James Latham Jr. and Hannah BRANCHSCROFT had the following children:

145 iii. Jane Latham⁽²⁾⁽⁴⁾⁽⁶⁾ was born in 1766 in Floyd County, Georgia. She died before 1865. She was a boarding house owner.
