Things I'd like to see in my future car
- hybrid
- small 3 or 4 cylinder turbo engine
- driven by electric motor only, engine powers generator
- can run e85
- advanced lithium-ion battery
- regenerative braking
- embedded solar panels
Basically, my idea of a great car is one that gets great mileage while still having good power to satisfy by performance nature. Ideally the engine should have only enough horsepower to cruise at freeway speeds. Additional power for passing comes from the battery. Weight is greatly reduced by having a small turbo charged engine vs a naturally aspirated engine.
