Insurance Finance Corporation (IFC), is a premium finance company specializing in financing commercial property/casualty insurance premiums. IFC began in 1969 to provide a higher level of service than other premium finance companies offered. Today, IFC is a multifaceted company that focuses on the needs of the managing general agent/broker. IFC is a small independently owned business with no ties to insurance companies, banks or other financial institutions, and that means we offer the most responsive flexible service possible.

In 1972, R.L. (Bob) Brackett was hired to manage IFC and subsequently began to market our services to other agents and brokers from around the country. Since then Bob Brackett has assured that the needs of the IFC's clients remain the top priority.

Today we are in the same business, doing the same things we did 27 years ago when we started. We are a nationwide premium finance company that deals ONLY with managing general agents and brokers. Although we pass up business almost on a daily basis, we feel we can provide the BEST SERVICE to a SELECT FEW, therefore we have chosen this niche of clients to market to.

To the best of our knowledge, we were the first associate member accepted into the American Association of Managing General Agents (AAMGA). This is a long-standing relationship we have been very proud of for quite some time. We are also proud of our association with the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Organization, Ltd. (NAPSLO). Both organizations have strict guidelines for membership, both active and associate. 90% of our business comes from members of these two organizations.
