Weather and migrations during the survey period:
Fog covered most of the state on Friday December 22 with a major storm crossing the state December 24 especially in the south and east.  Christmas Day brought some sun and moderate temperatures that allowed for some opening in fields in areas that escaped the additional snowfall.  No substantial change in ice conditions have occurred this past week.  Some limited field hunting of geese is still occurring especially in the south zone.
