Full Marching Band uniform will be worn for all marching events. When performance temperature looks to be above 75 degrees an alternate uniform may be worn (band t-shirts, blue jeans or khakis, and white shoes); this change will be clearly announced well in advance of the given performance.
The concert uniforms will be worn for all concerts, festivals and contests. Graduation and solo/ensemble festival will be dress-up clothes (no denim, no tennies)
Gum and candy observed during a performance will result in an "F" for that performance, including marching band; no warnings. No food or drinks other than water in concert or marching uniforms.
After each performance, all chairs, stands, instruments, music and uniforms must be returned to their proper place in the band room. The responsibilities listed below will constitute part of the Performance grade.
It is the responsibility of every concert band member to put away his or her own instrument, music, chair, stand and uniform.
Other specific assignments may be made depending on the size and site of the concert.
